Woohoo my triumph passed today, two advisories both of which was half expected, rear tyre and front brake pads low. :)

Perzactamente the same as mine.

Did my back in doing the pads, took 4 weeks to get back on the bike. Still sore and don't want to do anything quickly.

Prob going for the new (spensive) Road 5 when it stops raining.

My granny says that I have enough rubber to get to Weymouth and back.

Quite how did you manage that then Burbs? cant imagine that there would be many examples of brake pad changing, back related injury's?

Just being an old wreck crawling about on the road in near freezing temps. Pushing and pulling in unusual vectors. Needed a hammer to get one pad out.

When I'd finished, I couldn't get up, was in an 'L' shape on the road. Took me 5 crawling trips to get the tools back in the house. Was mostly on all fours for 2 days, then on a walking stick for another 2. Today is day 37 and I am still in discomfort, but can ride the bike.

Ive slipped a disc before and it sounds very similar, went to the docs and he said sit down, erm best not as I couldn't get back up again. Hope you get better soon mate.

Sitting down is the worst thing.

I do yoga-type exercises twice a day. Also walk up & down one stair for as long as I can. Luckily, all this is coinciding with krap weather.
