Just a quick post to let of some steam.
Just had some pillock come out with the "intention" of buying my 1982 vf750 magna. Seemed very intrested and after 30 minutes of looking and taking side panels ect of he asked to take it up the road for a test ride.
"Il only go a mile up the road" he said, "il take it easy" he said.
So like a dick I give him the keys and of he goes. 20 mins at least later back he comes.
Smoke billowing of the engine and the engine caseing so hot that if you spit on it it fizzs and steams, oil pi$$ing out from god only knows where. And him swearing blind he didn't go over 40mph!
The tires were even hot to the touch,
basically he's tried riding a 35 year old bike like a super bike and blown something somewhere in the engine.
Anyway I'm sure you all know how I feel and I hope you forgive my rant.
Now where's that bottle of Jack Daniels and my "bad day straw"..................
