hope it was no one on here!!
really bad but many witnesses say rider fault, feel sorry for the firemen who had to deal with it.

Sad of course it is, according to some comments on Facepest, he was riding like he stole it, narrowly avoiding crashing minutes earlier.

My neighbour was an eyewitness. Bad all round. Very sad.

I've been talking to a friend of mine this morning that is Emergency services. Apparently the guy had been spotted 3 times between Bumpers farm and Corsham caning it to the extent that the back end was fishtailing. Sadly there's a lot more than that to be said but out of respect i'm not going to until the case is clearer. However, it was very true that the 30mph signs in Corsham were ignored. I do feel for the 4 people in the car that experienced him coming toward them though. :(

There's usually a back story, I'd imagine something made the rider ride like that. Horrible for everyone involved, emergency services included :(

I kept the story off the posting , but got the aftermath from a fireman I work with, they got there at 8.30 and left gone 1am. he had a few minutes in the toilet during the day.
two wheels should be on the ground at that time of day.
maybe as Dabz said there maybe a story behind but unfortunately we have had a few friends and customers who have ended up the same way. its the family you have to feel sorry for.
present company included.

The Bath Chronicle says it was a red Suzuki.

Cheers Toph, the person i'm thinking of rides a red Srad.

I'm sure it will all come out in the accident report. Whatever the outcome, it won't bring the rider back, sadly. My thoughts are with his family and wishing those in the car make a speedy recovery. RIP the biker - so sad.

Just sad when another young guy dies on a bike. I'm not going to comment on the circumstances. I'm not sure that if I was a family member (thoughts are with you) I would not like to hear the speculation. He won't be the last one either, that's the nature of driving and riding.

Sheldon road?

Yes, rides flat out everywhere, only matter of time, the only other bloke i know of with a bike on Sheldon has an SP1.
