I need some help does anyone on the forum have any issues with tyre pressure gauges at garages. I have been to many petrol stations and find it almost impossible to get a tyre pressure nozzle to fit onto the front tyre valve due to the wheel and disc alignment which makes it difficult to connect the tyre pressure gauge.

My advice would be to buy a decent pressure gauge and a bicycle track pump and check/inflate them at home. The best and most accurate way to inflate your tyres.

keep one with you or leave on the wheels, forecourt gauges are designed for cars!!

Agree with both the above. Life is so much easier with the angled nozzle and never trust a garage tyre pressure gauge :)

Hate to say it, but....Halfords.

Their own digital gauge and Michelin 2-barrel digital pump.

i use one of these, bicycle track pump with built in gauge http://www.amazon.co.uk/dp/B000FICB90

if you're after measurement accuracy then you can rapidly start spending silly money, but most things will be better than the forecourt tyre inflaters.
