Hi my wife is looking to do her MOD 1 & 2. She's passed her CBT and Theory, however she is only five foot and therefore she is looking for someone with a 600 that she can get on which is also not too heavy.

the other route would be to buy her a bike that she can complete her mods on.

Any advise would be welcome.

Apolgies I have just noticed that I have placed this on the wrong thread, I am not sure how to change it but if admin can then please do

I'd give Mark Able (Trowbridge) a shout. If you don't already know he runs a training school. He might have a suitable bike and if not probably has the contacts to help.

Phoenix Motorcycle Training in Chippenham use ER6's. I'd only been riding a 125 for a few months and I passed first time.

Lee and Rob that I trained with were brilliant and really helpful.

Thanks guys, I passed mine with Mark Able but I think his 600 are to big for the misses. I also now Lee, but not sure if his bikes are any different in height/weight, but will pop over and see them both. However I don't think she will have any issues passing her test, so might be a worth buying something she's comfortable on?

Im sure other riders must have had similar experiences.

Phoenix in Amesbury have a lowered ER6.

Not sure if it's too late, but i know Mr Able uses Kwapasaki Diversions, and that he has a seat that has been modified to make it lower.

Failing that it may be easier to get her, her own bike, as at least then it's something that she can be comfortable with herself.

But i would recommend Mark Able for getting your wife through her test.

Not a problem, hopefully we'll see another rider with a full licence on the road soon.
