Thinking about having my suspension set up by a professional and heard good things about MH Racing. It's only £50 all in for it adjusted to suit my weight and riding, wondered if anyone has had any dealing with them and how much of a difference it made if you've had it done?

Well worth it mate, had both my bikes set up by Mark, he certainly knows his stuff, and it made quite a difference to my road bike, raised the front slightly, making the bike turn in better, as well as balancing the braking effect.

Sounds good. Just looked at their website and in the next village to me. They do a full service as well, not that keen to go back to the dealer I got my bike from as I've not heard great things about their servicing.

Will give them a try, thanks for the heads up.

Awesome stuff, hopefully he's got availability for next week, I've only had the bike about 6 weeks and it does feel a little soft especially at the front.

Also got it booked in for a service and a once over with Steve Lynham in Swindon who comes recommended.

Out of interest what bikes did you have done?

Haha fair enough. I was looking at an older blade actually, but think that's one for when I've got a bit more time riding under my belt!

Nice :) That's seriously low miles, mines on around 47k for a '98 Did you test ride it? they are surprisingly comfy for a sport bike, goes well too :)

No I hadn't past my test when I went and had a look but it felt a bit on the small side as I'm 6'4" plus it was probably a bit too rapid for a first bike! haha.

I went for the VFR in the end which has turned out to be a spot on first bike!

Thanks fella, yeah really like it and always grown up around Honda's my old chap had a few when I was growing up, he had a CBR1000F in Roth man's colours, than one always stuck in my mind, think I'm developing some brand loyalty, always wanted an RC30.

So had the suspension done last week at MH Racing and after a few days of riding in all sorts have conditions, I've come to the conclusion that it was probably the best £40 I could have spent. Was only there about 20 minutes but got given some sage like advice and guidance from Mark. Definitely recommended and will take all my bikes there in future!
