Might seem a stupid question I was looking at huggers and they look like rear mudguards so what is the difference?

About £40...

A rear mudguard will help prevent water/dirt being thrown up over the back of the bike/rider. A rear hugger prevents all the same crap getting thrown all over the rear shock helping to prevent corrosion and possible seizing of the relevant adjustment points.

Davegsr, thank you, I have got a Fazer 6N and thinking of adding a few bits like a hugger and belly pan, to extend its life, might also add a scotoiller. Appreciate the advice.
Cheers Gary
Well worth having saves hours of work cleaning shock etc.
It's a good addition, I've got one on both my bikes, also have a scottoiler knocking about if you are interested?
