Let me introduce myself, I’m Jo the wife of MelkshamKwak who has finally conquered my fears of motorbike riding…
I was last on a motorbike over 30 years ago and after one bad experience swore blind ‘never again’! But for some reason I made a New Year’s resolution that this would be the year to give it another go. So we borrowed some kit, (I didn’t want to spend a lot in case I hated it!) and he took me on my first ride a couple of weeks ago. Wow! What fun!! I feel like I’ve cheated myself out of 30+ years of fun and have a lot of catching up to do!! Within days of my first ride I was shopping for biker kit and now I hopefully look as well as feel the part!
I have to give my husband full credit he’s been amazing and the smile on my face after a ride is clear for all to see how much I’m enjoying myself!! So thank you, and here’s to years of happy riding together :D
