Hello Wiltshire Bikers!:D
I live in Swindon and I wondered if anybody was interested in Moto Gymkhana.
I've been competing in the UK Championship for a couple of years now and its good fun.
If you would like to have a go let me know.

Think I'd be pushing it on a 24 year old zzr with adrenaline-edition brakes and a pogo stick shock.

actually that sounds quite fun

Hi, any road bike is eligible. We've had anything from a Monkey Bike to a Victory….although they really are the extremes of too short and too long….but they worked round the course. Almost any bike is effective and there are all sorts at an event….too many to list really. The sport is more about how you can improve yourself as opposed to competing on equal terms to someone else.

Looks good I must find out more and go along, as long as it not half way across the country.

I've seen cruiser type bikes do it. I didn't quite have to bottle to have a go on my RSV when I went up there. Good group of guys too!

Hi. I run a practice/training session in Wroughton about twice a month if you are interested, (got one this Saturday)
The competition venues this year are Donington, Kempton and Santa Pod.
Please ask if you want to know more ;)

Cool, it would be great to get some local interest.
It's at Swindon Karting Arena, Wroughton, Hanger C2, SN4 0QJ
We use the area at the back of the hanger so don't worry if you can't see anybody when you arrive.
It can get cold and windy up there even on a sunny day so you might need your base layers on.
Normally the Cafe inside the Kart Circuit is open for tea, coffee, burgers, etc.
There is a charge to ride I'm afraid of £20 which is for a day membership to the club and insurance.
(members pay £10 for practice events)
You can just watch if you want and ask questions.
We start at 10am and finish at 4pm.

I'll be there about 9.50 and setting up around the back of the hanger so you can just ride round and find me…you don't need to check in at the reception.
