Apparently they plan to open a factory in Leicestershire, it's later described as a "smaller satellite centre" so I'm guessing they'll assemble Indian parts kits but a homecoming of sorts.

There's a place [was ?] that imported and makes?/mends? Enfields near Moreton-in-the-marsh.
They have open days so joe punter and the officianados can have a get together...or used to :confused:

http://www.watsonian-squire.com/ were the importers for Enfield India (the correct name) up to 2012, then MotoGB took over importing when Watsonian decided to concentrate back on their original product sidecars.

early Enfields from 1980-1990 were made and most had the same frame numbers, not a problem in India but some imported here were refused log books by DVLA as numbers allready allocated to a frame, which upset a few owners
