Hey dudes

I am just waiting get a bike lift so I can take my wheels off, to get them powder coated, im up for most takes, bar taking off the tyres and removing/replacing the bearings,

any decent shops around that will do this (obviously for a fee) im in Chippenham but to be honest have car will travel ,,,,

cheers in advance,

p.s obviously I can Google but want someone I can trust especially when putting the wheel back together, had a few bearings GO on front wheels of bikes and its not a nice experience

Not mine but my brothers. Mention "Cuffy" and you might get a discount.

I was recommended Steve (Cuffy's brother) by a friend who had some work done, so have no doubt that the powder coat will be a good job, and was quoted a good prices,

but I was told I would need to remove discs and bearings etc myself, hence the post,

fairly straight forward to strip down wheels providing you have the tools to do it..do all my own work on my bikes, would be happy to help if you need it..

Or make do with 'made up' tools

My lever arm for my 3T trolley jack is ideal for knocking wheel bearings out of wheels as its 'bang on' the right diameter!
