Hi All,
Now we are into that time of year when if you take your bike out you are pretty much guaranteed you will have to clean it when you get back, does anyone have any tips or recommendations for products etc that will help with cleaning and protection. Thanks 😊

ACF50

Give your bike a good coating of that. But make sure you cover your discs with a cloth or something

As above, coat it in ACF50 (get the fairing off to properly coat everything). Then just let it get filthy, if the dirt on the plastics bugs you just wipe it off. Come spring give it a wash and it will be gleaming as the ACF will have left a coat on all the metalwork protecting it.

I clean my bike a lot so dont have to spend much time and effort doing it but always use FS365

brilliant stuff stops rust and gives everything a nice shine.

I use dettol surface cleaner on the chrome, under the tail and greasy parts by the chain, bit of muc off and 'wax on, wax off' Greased Lightning 'Showroom Shine' - which is cheap and epic.

Car, it's warm, who cares if it gets dirty, and the stereo is better too.

Yep - Showroom Shine is the best cleaner & wax treatment on the planet.
ACF50 is great too.

Another vote for ACF50. Might be worth asking other members if they're interested and buy in bulk? Save you a couple of quid in the long run.

Got ACF-50 and FS365 in my shop if anyone's after any. Tried to price it right, see what you reckon (no obligation to buy any, it's free to look): http://www.shinybikesyndrome.co.uk/new/shop/

We get Nooj to clean our bikes. IMO it's a worthwhile investment if you have a decent bike, don't particularly enjoy washing the bike and you're short of time and can afford it.
Nooj does an excellent job and goes over everything with a fine toothcomb so might even spot any issues (he spotted a split o-ring on my chain).
After you've had the treatment then after every ride it's simply a case of hosing off the salt.

Of course you can do it yourself you prefer.
