Just finishing fixing the bike ......... again but it is now singing to me. ;)
Yes you read that correctly. It is definately coming from the fuel tank filler. I suspect it is due to the pressure build up in the tank. Is this going to be an issue for me or should I crack on and make a recording for Simon Cowell and live off of my new fame.

Tis the sudden warm weather I reckon. Might try checking the tank breather is clear.
Not a problem unless you try lighting up a smoke.
my mates bike will sing for hours, its very weirde. like there are whales in his tank (small ones)
I like a Tiger in my tank personally.

It stopped after a few minutes but it was cool. If you push down on the filler cap it makes it a higher pitch, etc. Good fun ;)

Howsabout some 'bullet holes' ??
check the breather hole in the cap is clear, may be very small or vent through key slot so give it a good going over

My zx does it when the fuel is low. It's a good indication that I need to start looking for a garage before the light comes on.
