Posting here to avoid hijacking the S1000 test ride thread..
@burbler. That Facebook post was dated 2011 :-) it was announced that it would be cancelled this year, but latest news I've seen is that it's back on...

Fyi, yeah there's a lot of bikes but it's organised well, plenty of parking on the local school playing fields, great atmosphere and loads of interesting and unusual exotica.
Getting out can be a bit awkward as there's people everywhere so you need to have your wits about you. As everyone there's bikers though people do move out your way and are aware you're there. I just make a point of leaving early to avoid the rush. There's usually some police around so the nutters behave themselves. Also they have marshals controlling traffic into the village from the a40 so its pretty safe tbh.
For me, it's the most bikes I've seen in one place apart from the parking at the Silverstone GP.
