Hi all, new to the site. I have just bought some lower fairings for my SV650S K5 from ebay, and they need painting. The usual car repair places are quoting me silly prices, does anyone know of a decent quality painter/bodywork contact? North Wilts would be best for me. Thanks

Hi wheelers, yes I tried them in Corsham and nearly collapsed at the quote, think I'm a bit out of touch with paint pricing. Kinda hoping someone may have a mate who does work for beer money!!

Just out of interest, would you be prepared to work for just beer money?

You could always have a go at it yourself.

We'd all like to get things for 'beer money'
There's more to spraying than just whacking on some paint.
If you can get it done for less than £300 you'd be lucky!

you might not like their price but they have done a couple of 1980's genesis yamahas and the pearlescent white was as good as original and the red and blue paint was just like a decal. the price was cheaper than race paint in keynsham, just as good but you pay for what you get. beer and paint don't match!!

I asked a guy about for a price to paint a Harley fuel tank..I said I'd prep it.. Just wanted a base coat, so I could do the custom paint design on it..then a few coats of lacquer.. Still quoted me £150.. I'll be sorting out the kit and doing the lot myself.. Watch this space!!

I've not been to see him for a cuple of years but Dennis has done some work for me in the past, fairly reasonably priced.

You could always ask 'Rolling Art' at Purton where they get their spraying done.
Glen is always pretty helpful

Skippy is one of the best sprayers. His work is first class.
