View Full Version : Hello Folks
Hi Folks.. Just joined the Forum today after chatting with a neighbour who is already a member.
She spoke very highly of your " get out and ride " ethic which suits me down to the ground... Weather permitting..lol.
To be honest ...If I wake up and fancy a blast out..and it's pouring I might think twice..but if it's a prearranged thing ..I'll be there!
I've ridden all my life and have had an assortment of bikes over the years, and love everything that biking brings.. The friends you make along the way.. Some fleeting... some for life.
These days I enjoy getting to Rally's and meets.. Last year it was Thunder in the Glens in Avimore.. The SOFER rally and a bank holiday run into France. So fingers crossed for some sunshine for this year.
And a big Hello to all the bikers I've meet in and around Royal Wooton Basset..a very friendly bunch.. I'm the one on the loud black Harley RoadKing ..
Looking forward to to meeting you all this year..
Sins

Hello and welcome Sins.
Is your username any reference to the fact that you ride a Harley?
Cheers Senna.
To be honest its a nickname I got a long time ago, hadn't heard it in years since I moved away from home, then walked into Charlie Williams shop and met a guy I hadn't seen in 25 years and it was how he greeted me.. Thought I'd keep it..
Morning Sins and welcome :)
Morning Sins,
I certainly don't think riding a Harley is a sin.
Used to ride one myself until my left leg and hip gave up the ghost. On 3 wheels now.
Morning Annie.
your right there's nothing sinful in riding a Harley.. Lol.. Sorry to hear wear and tear has taken you off two wheels, but I'm sure the trike fills the gap..plus you can carry everyone's excess camping gear..
Cheers guys and gals..starting to feel right at home here.. Just nipping out to see if my rear tyre is flat... There's always something!!
Hi Sins, nice to have you here. We're a friendly bunch :)
It's certainly proving that way Goldie..just got to get the sun glinting on the chrome and meet at the pub..:)
Hi Sins, welcome to Wiltshire Bikers! :)
Cheers Toph.. just waiting for a break in the weather..
Hi Sins, I also carry the dog, Hari, my trike has a kennel on the back!! :D
Now you're talking.. He..he.. Any trips planned for this year?
Quite a few, George to the Dragon, April, Barfly at Tewksbury, OGRI in August, NABD in September, Gert Bustard in October and what ever comes up in between.
We tend do Rallies rather than 'trips' as I have the shop to think about, so long weekends are about it and classed as our holidays ;)
Good for you!.. It's hard when you work for yourself. As I'm finding out.. But like you I'll do as many as I can. I'd like to go to Fraaka See to the huge Austrian rally.. But normally turns into 10 days and a run into Spain lol but we'll see.

Hi Sins,
I just saw your post on another thread where you mentioned only recently joining WB and noticed that you live in Royal Wootton Basset. Nice to see a fellow RWB'er on the forum! I'm located in Woodshaw and you'll see me riding about on my green Kawasaki ER5 (been riding 2 years and this is my first bike) with the topbox and loud delkevic exhaust. I'll be sure to look out for you!
Hello Mayallrob.. It's a small world and getting smaller.. As I'm moving to Woodshaw early next month.. I'll keep my eyes and ear open for you..
Cheers Jed.. Good to be here..
