...gritters are out tonight so say goodbye to our lovely salt-free roads for a while :(
ACF50 is your bikes friend :)
****e... Am determined to keep riding for as long as possible before chickening out by using the car. I used waxoyl before on my car so may treat the bike to some.
Nothing here at the mo, but im sure its just matter of time, like when there's about a foot of snow....

Thanks for that James – that explains why the lorry driver I flagged over earlier to tell him he was shedding his load, was so irate with me.

Please excuse my ignorance .... but, how do you Waxoyl a bike .... where do you put the stuff? Richard
You buy a can of ACF50 and spray it everywhere that water can get too. Then when spring comes you wash it off, in the mean time your bike looks filthy on the surface but is safe underneath :)
I use ACF 50 and Scotoiler FS 365 both brilliant stuff.
ACF50 once or twice a year and FS365 after every wash (I'm OCD when it comes to cleaning!)
Here's a link to a clip explaning how to use FS365 - http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=z_y1O5Eg6tA
I get nooj to do it :o
I've not been able to get out on the bike in ages, he'll be a right grump to start when I do probably... But at least there's no salt in the garage!
