Weymouth Beach Race

As the thread title says, the racing takes place this weekend, are any of the WB members going down for a look?
I went for my first ever beach race last year at Weymouth and found it a most enjoyable day out and all for a donation of what ever you wish to give the local Lions charity.

Didn't know anything about it.
Sounds like Weston beach race before it was ruined by pen pushers.

Rode in it twice in the 80's..on a 920 Norton Wasp outfit... brilliant fun.:)

Back then it was run with solos, sidecars and quads at the same time.
