Looks like the driver of the Range Rover must have upset one of the bikers then got scared or road raged and decided to do some real damage

The biker who may never walk again, Ed Mieses, is the one hit by the car as it sped away, his wife Dayana said.

He suffered broken legs, fractured ribs and spine injuries, according to his family.
Mr Mieses, known as Jay Meezee, is an aspiring rapper from outside Boston, and he and his wife have two teenaged children.
"There's no hope for his back," Mrs Meises told reporters outside hospital.
"They crushed his spine. They broke it in two different places, so he will be forever, forever paralysed."
"My husband got off his bike to help the guy," she said of the confrontation.
"When you look at the video you can see he (the driver of the car) is running over something. It's not just a motorcycle, it's a human being that was under there."

Before we start blaming the car driver. Lets look at the facts.

He had his wife and his 2 year old in the back of the car.
The guy on the white (R6 I think it was) brake checked the car on PURPOSE! he knew what he was doing. And from the looks of the slight bit of video he did it a few times for no good reason. The car then hit him which was inevitable.
The bit we dont see on camera is the bit just prior to the car driver gunning it and running over the bike. But I expect it was similar to the end where he got the window smashed in and he was put in a threatening situation.
The fact he came forward to the police (driver) and has NOT been arrested for this suggests they dont think he is at fault so much as was acting in self defence.

From my point of view, if that was me driving the RR, even as a biker I would **** myself. Pack mentality in that situation with my wife and a 2 year old, I would have done the exact same thing.

As much as I know you will not like me for saying this Swanny, in this case, its entirely the biker(s) fault.

I've just read the ACTUAL story in the press, this video is edited cleverly. It's the bikers who are the bad guys here having set on the car driver. They smashed his window and dragged him from the car, beating him until he managed to get away

We don't know what the driver did before he arrived on the camera, (he must have done something to upset the bikers) he could have been driving like a complete twat and a few of the bikers decided to let him know about it.
I'm sure most of us here have had to tell drivers when they are in the wrong, if that happened when there were a few bikes together things could easily get out of hand.
The driver could be a complete prick that decided to get all road raged up or he could have been scared and made a run for it.
I don't expect we'll ever know what really happened

I agree we will never know but if it happened to me and my kids and wife were with me I would not hesitate to protect them.

From what I heard and seen it was a hog the road trip and the biker who got hit first was driving dangerously close to the land rover and breaking invoked the first crash. Respect to the victim that stopped to help him and got run over as later they attacked the car its not seen if they did the first time making the problem worse that's what happens when the public think they have the right to attack first then ask questions later

I read today that the same group of bikers have done this in the past. Not cool at all.

There's more films them running red light's weaving around cars lot of hate in comments about how they drive dangerously and had terrible burgers at meets hope things like that help us deal with everyday life more sympathetic and thoughtful

Seems the guy who started it all doesn't have a licence or insurance to ride.
What a numpty.
