Free 5k Run

I have recently found out about parkrun which is a 5k timed run (not race) that takes place in parks all over the country. Our nearest are at Southwick Country Park and Lydiard Park, all the runs start at 09:00 on Saturday mornings if anyone is interested.

They are a good morning out. My sister in law and wife used to do the one in trowbridge most saturdays and we used to do the strenuous work of cheering her on.
