Hi all,

I signed up to the site almost exactly one year ago, and made it to about two bike meets at the Harp and Crown last summer before I got myself a job. Unfortunately the job had me out of the house from 5am til 8pm, which stopped me from going.

I've just this week left that godawful job and now looking forward to getting to meet you all properly.

I'm 23, live in Wootton Bassett (near Swindon) and still on my first bike, a Kawasaki ER-5, that I've owned since I passed my test last year. Still saving up for the dream bike, a BMW S1000RR. Almost there, hopefully next summer... ;)

I studied Media Arts and enjoy film production and photography. I'm always out taking photos and videos of bikes and often take my GoPro out on the bike with me to film.

Hoping to get back to the H&C to see you all soon!

Rob

Welcome back - jumping from an ER5 as first bike to an S1000RR is a hell of jump. You could go a bit higher and plump for an HP4..... I would but I can't get my feet on the rearsets.

Thanks for the warm welcome back guys!

I realise switching from an ER5 to the S1000RR will be a big jump, but I figured that the BM is the bike I really want so I might as well get it whilst I am still young and can fully appreciate it. I know that if I went for a 600cc sports I would always regret not going straight to the S1k.

And I'd go for the HP4 if I could, but I'd need a fair few more savings and the insurance would probably bite me in the ass!
