A mate who rides an early Fireblade is putting new boots on.. as the early blades had a 16 inch front wheel, tyres are a little scarce.

He usually uses Bridgestone Battlax bt's but has been looking at Battlax S 2O'S.
Has anyone used s20's?.. do they come recommended?

thoughts please?

I / my bike doesn't like Bridgestones. I've only tried 023's though.
My encounter with them gave me lots of arse bobbling which was a little disconcerting.
I will stick with my Michelin 2CT's - they stick like glue wet or dry.
Having said that I know it's a bit of an unfair comparison really as the 2CT is a supersport tyre and the 023 is a sports tourer but I didn't like how hard they felt. Each to their own though - tyres are a real matter of personal preference and matching to the bike ( manufacturers recommendation yadah yadah.......)

Never had a bad set of Bridgestones yet, but never heard of S20's. They seem to be getting goo reviews though.

Let us know if he goes for them.

They look like a decent tyre mate, and the reviews are positive. Theres also the bt 016, conintal sport attack (my personal fav) avon and maxxis also produce tyres for the early blades, but as far as I'm aware, michelin dont.
