Hello all

I am a newbie to this forum and thought I better say hello and tell you all about myself, so bring up a chair and get comfy this may take a while.

It all started about 34 years ago........ Only kidding.

I am Nigel but am called Ig, I ride a Honda VFR800 for my sins, I live in swindon and use the bike most of the year and use it for comutting and holidays. I used to have a few different bikes going from a Honda 550 Four, a Yammy Div, and a Honda CB500.

Well what else do you want to know??

Oh my word B_1_RD I never thought anybody knew what a 550/4 was or had even seen one, I turned mine into a chopper in the end, flogged it for a heck more than I spent on it, shame it was a nice bike. Good luck to your dad.

Rex please tell me that this is not really your winter commute?? where do you live Canada?? Nice engine though.

Mine was a two tone brown and had wire spoke wheels, others than that yes is the same as.

I owned one of those to, back in 1980, although it was before the Comstar wheels so had spokes. Slightly different shade of Blue. Made a lovely noise if I remember correctly, but not as clean as B_1_rd's. Was a bit of a ratbike since I had no money to spend at the time.

The proper wheels are the spoked ones for that year bike (1978). Dad used to have a new one back in 1977 too. The colour on this isn't the correct one. I have said for him to get the proper colour but he's happy with the one he has. :-?
