Hi
Here we are another newby, just passed my test on Tuesday, what a relief, the swerve test nearly did for me but I scraped through on the second attempt. Now to start looking for a bike, what do you reckon maybe a 600 say Fazer or Hornet anybody got any other ideas, not sure I like the drop style bars would prefer to sit up straight to start with. Can't wait to get out on the road after 10 years off a bike. :)

Sorry forgot to say a big thanks to Able Motorcycle trianing for getting me through the test what a great bunch of guys. :)

Welcome to WB and well done on your test. As for bike choice I suggest you look at as many as possible, go around all the dealers and make sure you sit on them its your first bike and you must feel comfy also make sure you can handle the weight.

You're welcome, always a pleasure... [smiley=thumbsup.gif]

Stick to the Honda or the Yam. Both ace bikes with ace engines. Honda is known to tank-slap under extreme conditions though, but has the most bullet-proof engine ever built. Yamaha is a bit more practical (bigger fuel tank) and comfortable (bigger saddle). [smiley=thumbsup.gif]
