View Full Version : Hi from another middle aged biker
Hi everybody, My name is Ged and I live just out from Mere. I have ridden bikes most of my adult life GSX's and ducati's mostly, have had to change riding position in the last few years and have gone the touring route with a 1200GS. Have really got the touring bug and go to europe as much as I can, the empty roads are fantastic.
If anyone knows of any meets round here please let me know and always interested in touring.
Look forward to meeting you all. [smiley=thumbsup.gif]

Hi and Welcome Gerry / Ged,
You will find it's a great club with some lovely members in it.

You fashion victim!
Guess it'll be "Cornwall is the new Wales" next?
You can't really call me a victim of fashion when I'm dressed like a bunch of bananas on me bike ;D

Hi Ged,
Welcome to WB [smiley=thumbsup.gif]
Any regrets about the GS as I am thinking of going down that road as well :-?
SBQE2,
They are good bikes, do everthing well, but they are very heavy to move about, they are tall bikes and if you lose your balance for any reason its almost impossible to stop them going over, other than that they are brilliant.
