Ciao!
My name is Allan, I'm half Italian (but that "Ciao" above is the most Italian thing I've ever done). I'm 19, lived in England, France and Texas. I'm very much into everything.

I'm coming to the end of my gap yah (year) now. Last summer I knew I'd have to get around myself this year, so the cheap option was to bike rather than car. Hoiked my leg over a Vanvan and 2 weeks later had a license. Days later I had a Curvy SV650, rode it 2000 miles in 2 weeks (none of it on motorway too). Piled up another 5000+ miles, and learnt it was too small for me (6'7") so I upgraded. Now own a b-e-a-utiful bike (drumroll) VFR800 V-Tec!!! BOOYEAH! Who's with me?! (Looks around for support, failing). 10 months down the line now and I've done about 10,000 miles or more, and this is only the beginning.

And god dammit, I'm bloody addicted to bikes.

Herrow herrow to you all!

I won't be able to make the 7th roast guys and gals.. I'm on the SV650 forum's annual ride-out. A weekend of fun, and over 210 people going already. Feel free to join if any of you want to!

Hey up Alan, Welcome to the WB.. I'm new myself to forum but not bikes....
Im like you totallly got the bug.. I'm totally jealous lol 6ft3 U aint going have no probs on a Dakar 650 GS... I'm a short arse a 5ft6 so need lowered height and for the Dakar the bike would loose it off roading capability.....

Anyway enjoy the forum mate.. hope to see you on the 7th...

Hello! You should try the rsv mille, only big people friendly, I think...I sure struggle riding it, waaaaaaaaaaaaaay to big for me.

Would you mind PMing me the sv ride details, please? Might tag along to that. Cheers!
