Hi everyone, my name's Gareth, I'm from west Swindon and I'm wondering which'd be better for my first bike night...Monday at 12 Bar or Tuesday at The Old Nick?
I ride a scruffy, but much loved, '76 Suzuki Kettle with unsilenced Higgspeed pipes - damn, they're loud!
I've various other bikes, but not many of them work!
See you soon.

hi and welcome to wb! im sure you will manage to find a meet near you-we have enough of them :P
Hi Gareth, and welcome [smiley=vrolijk_26.gif]
from Swindon but not made it to a Swindon meet yet, Harp & Crown on Wedsesday is great for Smellyburgers and the Polebarn in Trowbridge on Fridays has a fabulous atmosphere and great food too. We also have a meet at the Sally (Salutation Inn) just past Castle Combe on Thursday but think this is a quieter night during the winter months.
hello and welcome [smiley=thumbsup.gif]
welcome matey! [smiley=thumbsup.gif]

Hi everyone, my name's Gareth, I'm from west Swindon and I'm wondering which'd be better for my first bike night...Monday at 12 Bar or Tuesday at The Old Nick?Hi Gareth - I'm in Swindon too, but I can't help answer your question directly as I've not been to 12 Bar and only been once to the Old Nick (which had good live music (http://thelogoffband.com/) on the night I went). They're both a bit further, but I'd recommend Wednesday night at the Harp & Crown, Gastard (which has recently been voted the "official" Wiltshire Bikers meet) or Friday at the Polebarn, Trowbridge.
I think 12 Bar is Morticia (http://www.wiltshirebikers.co.uk/cgi-bin/forum/YaBB.pl?action=viewprofile;username=Morticia)'s local - perhaps she can tell us what we're missing!
Welcome! [smiley=thumbsup.gif]

Hi Gareth and welcome.
I go to the 12bar and I always have a wicked time, but a couple of times it's been just me, Peter and the barman. Paul is now another regular. I sure recommend it, but it is not a busy night. If you want a busy one, the old nick's better for that. And if you go to the 12bar, let me know :)
Welcome Gareth.... come to the Fart and Clown... can't wait to hear the Kettle.
heya bud. welcome to w'bikers! what other bikes you got, pm me if you wanna sell any of the non runners! hopefully see you at a meet soon! stay safe.
Welcom Gareth - usually quite a few at the Old Nick on Tuesdays (tho a few less over the last coupla freezing weeks) See you there next Tuesday? Be a nice novelty to have a louder bike than mine up there ;D ;D [smiley=thumbsup.gif]
