Hello All, yet another newbie here - under very high recommendation to your site!
I've been learning to ride since the beginning of December last year (took my CBT in temp of -6!) Absolutely love it! Incentive was being fed up of being a pillion passenger - went on my honeymoon last year for a bike tour round the coast to Lands End and back. I've got a Kymco ck125 at the mo (endearingly called "Kenco"! Lol!), not the best acceleration, but it got me through my Mod 1, mod 2 has yet to be seen, but I've also got a Kawasaki ZX4, bought cheaply as a repairable project that already had restrictors in place. The engine of it has been completely stripped to get rid of something that might once have been petrol... but it's interesting competing for work space on the kitchen worktops against the carburettors!
The Wiltshire Bikers sound like a really good crowd and I'm really happy to see other lady bikers on here! It's reassuring! also to know that there are 125cc friendly ride-outs!
Looking forward to getting familiar with this site, people and experiences and hopefully making it on some Wednesday nights!
All the best, Sue :@)
