View Full Version : New little Geordie nervous!

Maz

Hi all,

Just to introduce myself I am called Marantha but everyone calls me Maz!

I am 5ft2 so quite small! It has been hard to find a bike that is for my height and not heavy so I have a brand new ninja 250r!

I am due to start my DAS in the next two weeks! I have to say I am nervous but exited at the same time!

If anyone has any tips then please share!

Oh and I am originally from Newcastle!

Thanks

Maz x

A huge number of the WB'ers are taking over Cornwall at the mo so the welcomes might be a bit thin on the ground for a couple of days.

As mentioned above, it will be quite quiet here over the weekend. Expect a lot of waffle going on when the masses return from Cornwall ;D

Hi Maz,

Good luck with your DAS, the great thing is that you only have to pass it once !

Sorry to hear your parents were passing through Geordieland when they had you - were they going to lovely Middlesborough ;)
Suppose we can't all be blessed ;D

Hope to catch you at a meet sometime.

Cheers
Gerry

Hi Maz, we're back from Cornwall !!
Welcome to the big happy family that is Wiltshire Bikers, 8-)
I passed DAS 4 months ago, best thing I have ever done, it's not as tough as you think, just relax and enjoy the experience. :) :) :)
Hope to see you at a meet very soon.

Hi Maz, hope it all goes well with DAS. Just like to ask, what bikes are you taking your test on? And why are you doing DAS (it's more expensive than A2) if you're riding a 250 Ninja that is designed for the 33bhp limit? The reason I ask is our bikes won't accommodate someone your height... :(

Don't think all of Cornwall was quite ready for us ;D

Hmmm... :-? Who runs Bandits round here then? Only know of GS500's or CB500's... ::)

Maz

A guy in Lyneham, well I think it's a bandit...he said my height isn't a problem....He said he had a guy who was 5ft on one who just managed....

I should be ok...it's just a shame my mother didn't stand my in you know what when I was little...when I look for someone I tend to look at ankles than heads! ;D

Neil - motivation and am struggling with the clutch at the mo so just need to crack that! I crack it then I loose it again fustrating for me! I am doing the standard A licence now and my ninja 250 is 24kW so I am ok xx

Maz
12-07-11, 06:52 PM
A2 - I think I might need more time but unsure good thing that Neil said am a different person to what I was yesterday! Still not as far as I would like to be and it's slow progress for me (don't know if that's my dyslexia) but its loads to take in...
