NO!!! Not the swimming trunks!!!
Does anyone know if Legally, do you have to have a working (!) speedometer on a bike/trike? :o
yes im pretty sure you do!
..If it comes under taxable/duty for a road vehicle then I would almost say yes.How else would you abide by speed rules? [smiley=happy.gif]

Dammit I knew I was missing something on mine :D
Yes you do have to have a working speedo on a vehicle
I think it's an age related thing in the same way as indicators. I didn't have one on my 1927 AJS but I think your trike is a year or two newer? :D
BB
Probably the same top speed as a 1927 AJS though. ;D
Yes you would need a speedo.
Andrew. Thank you for the text messages. The last one was very good.
Cheers Kev
speedos..what are they?? don't think my dad knows what they are!!!! ;D ;D ;D
I think mine must be broken as it appears blurred between 0 and 70mph. ;D
Andrew these are the speedo's you need on your trike
(Probably the greatest motorcycling picture of all time. Land speed record and he is wearing protection. Shoes!)
Sorry to say dude for your age trike and the fact that it is not the original car anymore then yes you do (knowing this from the days of building Kit Cars).
