Hey guys , anyone out there with a bit of knowledge about attatching handbrake cables to rear axels your help would be much appreciated 8-)

lol igbell .. only cars have rear axels mate .. mine is from a Triumph Spitfire .. the left side is connected - but the right side is not yet connected up .. i believe that is all my trike needs doing to it now for the MOT :D

How is it connected on the one side ? any pic's ?

Are the fittings not the same both side's :-/

if it still has the original drum brakes from the spitfire then the rear cable in the diagram jon W has posted connects to levers to the rear of the slave cylinders each side these are located on the brake back plates, it is important that the slave cylinders slide in there slots for the hand brake to work efficiently. hope this helps you [smiley=thumbsup.gif]
