View Full Version : Who does plastic welding?

Anyone know if I can get some plastic welding done in the Wilts/Bath area.

A small (non load bearing) section of the hayabusa nose cone (around the fairing) has broken off. I was wondering whether it makes sense to have it plastic welded back together then paint the entire nose or should I just get a replacement nose.

I am seeing used nose cones for about 50 - 100 quid. Would anyone be able to to tell me how much plastic welding costs and what a paint job would costs?

Give Paul a shout here (http://www.impactbodyrepairs.co.uk/)

His work is very very good from what I have seen/heard [smiley=thumbsup.gif]

Ebay is probably the cheaper route

I am beginning to think so after I saw a complete nose cone with lights and indicators go for 40 quid. Just looking for the right colour scheme now.
