They can both be a pain in the arse though! ;D

Depends on application...

As a thread restorer into aluminium and soft steel, ideal!!!

For heavy structual loading into harder materials not so good.

Very easy to insert, better than new thread in a damaged alloy head etc?

Had a few come out ,when they have been fitted to spark plug holes ,iv never fitted them just had bike,s with them already on , i changed the heads normaly , there IMO not a good long term fix,but they may have been fitted wrong or not well enough .Hope you get it fixed .
