Hi guys
picked up a non runner, no spark.
power to lights horn and things but no power to coils.
cdi is ok and the fuses all ok. ????
its a mass of wires and hope that someone has came across or knows any known issues with these battle ships ...lol :D ;D

Are you a pool player..?
Is there a signal to the cdi?? Is there power on the cdi?? You say the cdi is ok, have you tested it??
yeap the cdi has been tried on a working bike and is ok ?
and no im not a pool player, just have 8 balls ???? :P

Does it have HISS? (Honda Ignition Security System) if so you need the corresponding key, they were put on around 2000, a real bugger if its broken or the wrong key, i had a cbr 600 f4 with the same problem and ended up having to buy a new ecu (honda wont/cant even sell you a new key/chip), that bike had the same symptoms as your after someone had hotwired the wiring loom

Can you swap parts between yours and the working bike until it works? :)

I think these have a separate 10A fuse for the ignition / starter as per the CBR6, this is fine, yes?
The Big Green Fuse on the starter solenoid hasnt done this??

no nothing that straight forward, lol. no alarms . fuses are all cool and unfortunatly Im not able to use the other bike for swapping stuff ,,,bummer :-*

problem solved .............the fuel relay is also in line with the coils and it was the cause of all the problems fires up d runs fine now ........cool
time to start cutting it up ........ ;D
