on fast acceleration and changing gear there is a whining/screaching noise from the engine,if you pull in the clutch and free wheel so engine is on idle the noise doe not slow down as quickley as the engine,its only done 1,100 miles.

Under Warranty? .... call your dealer and get it checked out before you ride it any further

As above. Get it back to the garage.

Sounds like gearbox or clutch.
