Both QUALITY songs. Stairway to Heaven by Led Zep MUST get a very high mention on my list. I know its cheeeesy but I do LUV that song!
Drink And Be Merry by Amebix. You won't have heard this on Wiltshire Radio!
or Holiday In Cambodia by the Dead Kennedys
Songs, well Smoke on the Water by Deep Purple ranks pretty high.
Albums, Well ZZ Top Eliminator/Afterburner, best riding/driving music for me.

>:(Whats wrong with Wiltshire Radio???? >:( I listern to them all the time AND they have given WB lots of plugs in the past!
At least you didnt mention that crappy tin pot outfit named after Brunell's railway line! ;D
It has to be 'Mr Scary' by Dokken, George Lynch won guitarist of the year back then with this song, 12mins of pure guitar and rock and roll. ;)
mines gotta be summit by gary moore (he's gonna play at my funeral and no not intended to be morbid)
and if i had to pick one song it would be Still got the blues for you
but TBH it would be more of a case of a song for different occasions

The cutting edge of the music scene!! I won a CD the other week off WR, they asked what music I was into, I replied 'Punk' and they sent me a Manfred Mann double album! Not a bad album TBH but not exactly punk...
Can we add more songs? How about Hassan I Sabbah by Hawkwind, another fine tune.
Jilted John was excellent! Isn't he now 'John Shuttleworth' on radio 4?
ah punk music now your talking my all time fav punk song is two pints of lager and a packet of crisps please - it epitomises late 70's early 80's pub culture. I've even got two john cooper clarke cds if anyone remembers who he was

Funny enough a John Cooper Clarke track was playing on the credits of a Johnny Vegas program earlier this week.
I believe Jilted John is working on radio Four as well as writing the odd bit of music for children’s telly, but I could be wrong
Plus Holiday In Cambodia is a belting track too.
