Gas Cooker Repair?

My parents gas cooker is having issues, you put the oven on and for no reason the gas stops and then restarts so basically no flame and lots of gas.

Anyone know any cooker repair people in Swindon, just looking for a quote

we have the same problem with our oven in stoke except it doesnt come back on!lots of gas an no flames!!
this is the second oven we have had that does it but they wont give us a new 1 coz we are students a will 'destroy it'

I know a guy who is gas qualified. Not sure if he does repairs though. Can find out if you want???
