on my way out tonight driving through longton i saw a bike headlight and some flashing lights heading towards me and it turned out the guy was wearing a jacket with 2 strips of white flashing lights down the front and 2 strips of red down the back!
was a bit of a headturner as i havnt seen that before but is it legal to have flashing lights?
God knows! You sure it wasn't santa? ;D

When you said 'Flashing Jackets', I wasn't sure if you were referring to the one's used in the local park by strange gentlemen wanting to display their sunday roast... :P

Now if it wasn's so heavy duty looking that would be brilliant for running in especially up the White Horse at night , instead we have to wear head torches to be seen with cyalume sticks pinned to the backs of our jackets :o

I think as long as the lights are attached to you & not the bike, it's OK. If they are fitted to the bike itself, then it's a real no-no.
