I was taking my dogs for a walk this afternoon, (should have gone out on the bike, it would have been safer!) and they saw some pheasants, now, they know they never catch birds because they fly away but they always think they're in with a chance. Anyway, Harry whipped the lead out on my hand and pulled my finger out of its socket (ouch!).

I was due to have my first observed ride with WABAM on Saturday which I have had to cancel, I am so gutted!! :'( :'( I haven't ridden for a few weeks and I was so looking forward to having a weekend on the bike, :(

I'm so sad for you I'm not even going to make play of "pulling your finger out " ;)

Pity about your weekend ride, I'm sure you will catch up though Rosie.

Ans I take it not even a pheasant for Sunday dinner even ?

Thanks for your good wishes and sympathy, it looks a bit blue this morning and quite swollen, I know it's only my finger but it's going to stop me riding and that's a big disappointment! :(

Ouch! :(

I can sympathise having had the same thing happen with one of my greyhound girls (she was after a rabbit). Damaged tendons in two fingers, and they had to be splinted for two weeks.

Hope you heal quickly :)

Sorry to hear that Rosie - speedy recovery I hope! And get a cat instead ;) The most mine gets up to is a long stretch and a saunter downstairs for some food now and again! ;D

They don't do bollocks either unless they are a transsexual ;D ;D

Sorry Rosie only pulling your leg, not your finger. Get well soon.
