I have been looking online and debating wether or not to enter :-/ if i do it will only be the 5k - there is no way i could 10k :P
just wondering if anyone else would be willing to do it? (females only)

I would love to do this. Perhaps we could all walk with our helmets under our arms to show our support for Cancer as "female bikers"??????? ;)

Nicky you're welcome to stay with me the night before if it's easier for you, we can car share down to Bath and back so you don't have to do too much driving :)

WALK? You can run it in your full leathers and bike boots ! 40 mins max at a slow plod x it's only 5k :-)

i struggle to breath in my leather atm as i have only worn them twice so running in them might not work very well :p

you can't walk a 5k..it's such a short distance once you get going you may as well challenge yourself! should be done in 35-40 mins even at a very slow job as BladeTriple said, and 30 mins at a normal paced jog

I did it last year, wlked it in about 45 minutes as I couldn't run it.

Just don't ask Kaz along , she will be around and done before most folk have done their first 3/4 of a mile, I think she runs 3 miles in about 13.30 mins ... the woman is a MACHINE!

maybe she should do the 10k while we do the 5k and we might finish at the same time :P
