I think that's a much deserved tribute to the town.

Not a fan of Lord Snooty and his pals, but agree with that one.

But seriously, it's nice to recognise what we do but no-one asked for or required recognition. It's all about our boys coming home. It does make a difference to the "Toms" out in theatre.

Wonder if Carterton will continue the turn out since WB showed them how its done, esp considering they never bothered before they repatriated them to Lyneham.

I agree, Royal title or not, for me the town will always be synonymous with the loss of so many of our brave service personnel, who’s deaths could and should have been prevented. :'(
