Just had the news this morning, that our God daughter, who was diagnosed with cystic fibrosis last week, has been rushed into hospital with pneumonia. She's only 2 years old, poor little mite :'(

We're both gutted, there's no way of explaining to her what's going on. She must be so frightened.

Life seems so unfair sometimes.....

We're going up there for the weekend to help look after the other kids while mum is back and forth from the hospital. Keeping fingers and toes crossed for her.

Good news, she's breathing unaided again now. She was even up playing last night! If she keeps her sats up on her own she can come home this afternoon. It's just horrible knowing that with the CF, its always going to be so serious when she gets poorly :(

Lizzie is out of hospital. She's on emergency watch, so if anything happens, she will bypass A&E and be rushed straight in.

Trouble with Cystic Fibrosis, is it makes any normal cold very serious, and anything like a chest infection, or pneumonia potentially life threatening.

She's a little fighter though, so if anybody can deal with it it's her! Looking at her on sunday, you wouldn't have known she was on oxygen & nebulisers very ill 2 days before!
