I have already been off work for 3 weeks and it looks like I wont be going back anytime soon :( :( Which is driving me mad, specially as I don't get sick pay from employer >:( >:(
Going to Frenchay Neurosurgical dept. Bristol, to see the consultant but its anyones guess as to what the outcomes likely to be :-? :-?
Wish me luck peeps as i think I am going to need it :'( :'(
Fingers, toes and other bits crossed Simon.

Well had the Hospital visit and It wasn't news I wanted to hear to be honest :(
I have prolapsed the same sodding disc I did years ago and am now facing another surgical operation :o which should be within the next 3 months :-/ But as yet I am waiting for that.
So depending wether its a 100% fix this time it may mean selling the thousand and even finding or at least trying to find another job :o :o
Thanks all for the positive wishes and I'll keep you updated :)

Sorry to hear that Simon. Keep your chin up mate. Hope you get booked in for op quickly
:( sorry it wasn't better news Simon, but hopefully they can sort you out this time and uou can keep biking, even if it means a different style of bike :)
Sorry to hear your news - I was keeping my fingers crossed for you Today.
You might find that the op might make your condition better than when you had your previous op - medical advances e.t.c.
I wish you luck in the op and prospective new job!

Col
It was an L$ lumbar disc and originally I prolapsed it way back in 1998 whilst at work(home del.) when 2 of us were carrying a washing machine still half full of water and as I stepped out of a doorway I felt a pulling sensation in my lower back and the rest they say is history :( :( Unfortunately it took the NHS till 2006 todo the first operation and now 5 yrs on I need another one :o
Sorry to hear that!
Chin up! We are all routin for u xxx ;)
