My confirmation letter arrived today, I'm going to Kenya folks ;D :o ;D
I fly out 29 October
Cycle starts 31 October
Day 1 Nyeri to Nyahururu
Day 2 Nyahururu to Nakuru
Day 3 Kabarnet to Eldoret
Day 4 Eldoret to Kakamega
Day 5 Kakamega to Kisumu
A couple of free days to recover or have an arse transplant :-? ;D and then fly back to Heathrow on 7 November.

The good news is I have reached my fundraising target of £2800 and that is in part to some of you who have so kindly sponsored me :-* thank you.
What I'd like to do is try and raise a bit more if I can, so if anyone would like to sponsor me then please send me a pm and I'll let you know the various ways you can donate, there is a link vv down there to a shared 'just giving' site.
If you can't spare any change, no worries, just your good wishes or threats will spur me on during the dark moments of the cycle ride.

Thanks for your time reading this :) Jac x

Just out of interest Jackie, how do you get from Nakuru to Kabarnet and why ? (Lions) ;)

Would have thought a pride of hungry lions would be no match for a pack of 80 women on bikes ;)

G :)

Jacde
28-10-11, 12:35 PM
Um not sure as to the why, its most probably the only flat bit and they don't want us to cycle it!!!! ::)

Once I find out I'll let you know. :)

They can't make it to easy for you, it's not supposed to be fun you know :D

My guess is either lions or cannibals (although I'm not sure it's not racist to suggest that just because it's in Africa you may be eaten by - lions) ;D

G

PS: don't be to stressed Jackie (rePM) it's going to be one of the best things you have ever done in your life I'm sure) x
