Awful isn't it! I don't understand what Metallica are gaining from the collaboration - I can't imagine it appeals to much of their fan base and I don't see Lou reed's fans suddenly becoming Metallica addicts.

that was light years ago! They've done a LOT of good stuff since then :P S&M was still a career highlight for me (RIP the genius of Michael Camen conducting and composing), but they were doing brilliantly at keeping fresh and interesting until this Lou Reed rubbish :/
