Leading on from the fuel price debate, isn't it about time we all started boycotting the local stations that rip us off? Makes my blood boil when I can fill up in Bristol for at least 7p a litre cheaper. Who do they think we are, the money grabbing b*****. Here's a few of my nominations:-

1. BP - West Ashton Road. Recently dropped their prices while roadworks were taking place, but sure to go back through the roof.
2. Bradford-on-Avon, Trowbridge Road (Texaco I think).
3. Beckington Services.

Incidentally, Esso on Boreham Road, Warminster, always one of the cheapest around. Warminster and Frome seem to have the cheapest fuel locally. And Tesco/Esso stations in Bristol seem to be the cheapest in a city. Even Tesco in Trowbridge isn't cheap. What is it about Trowbridge? >:(

I noticed tonight that it's £1.319 at the BP Warminster services. I still won't fill up there as the shop prices for drinks, coffee, chocs etc take the piss

Beckington shop is fairly reasonable and will let you in at 3am to get a coffee and a warm pie so go there regularly.

I agree Trowbridge is a big rip off for fuel >:(
Why does anyone buy petrol at BP - West Ashton Road it's so bloody expensive in there.

Not that it makes any difference but I refuse to buy fuel from BP because of what they did in the Gulf of Mexico

I noted today Tesco Trowbridge £134.9, Morrisons Chippenham £131.9.

Only reason I go there on the bike is convenience and they dont ask you to take your helmet off, but yes Trowbridge is SO expensive for fuel :(

Yup the pay at pump is enough to make me go there - so much easier and quicker!

One of the few things that make me happy living in Swindon is cheap fuel, going to visit you lot in the wilds of Wiltshire is expensive :P

I see that someone is trying to put trollbridge on the map... On breakfast news today there was a feature on a local woman who's created "eau de Tro" - a perfume that "captures the essence of Trowbridge" apparently... They interviewed a couple of inbreds in the shopping centre who gurgled something unintelligible in Trow-speak, and then a guy who was obviously an outlander who said that it smelt quite nice so there's obviously work to be done if it's to truly smell like the town... :-)

Haha I can imagine the types interviewed. :o
I haven't ventured into the town centre area for quite awhile. I feel trogtown centre is best avoided as much as possible, it's just too scary in there :-?

Eau de Tro..... Shudder!!!! Erm no thanks I'd rather not :-/

Imagine bringing a friend from abroad to trogtown.
Where would you take them??? ;D
