I'm gonna have to Google this Kony thing cos it seems to be getting like 'took an arrow to the knee' ...have no idea what it's about :-?

Interesting.... After watching it, I looked at some of the other stuff that had been posted about it. At first I thought - for once we have chance to prove that we can go into a situation that is morally wrong, and help resolve it, purely based on the fact that it IS the right thing to do, and not for selfish or financial gain.

Then I read elsewhere that Uganda has untapped oil reserves..... ::)

Exactly ;)

the spread of this Kony stuff is blatent engineering by people with a vested interest in swooping in and 'helping', all the while gaining access to the oil reserves.

It's not anything new (Kony and Uganda's issues) but with the middle east issues pushing oil prices up and up we need a new victim...sorry...poor oppressed country to save.

Foolish to think that for once, there could be a chance for the UN to do something good, just because it's the morally right thing to do!

other than Germany no one in the UN has the money for morals anymore :P
