He didn’t pull any punches Andy– a breath of fresh air to listen to someone who talks straight and says how it is. I thought the chap in the audience was right-on-the-money when he said the politicians are powerless to do anything about the banks.

How can one state act unilaterally regulating banks which trade in a global free market?

Government ministers are to meet with oil giants to urge them to lower fuel prices at our pumps. Even if they ask really nicely don’t expect to see a drop in price – oh! And the banks are going to change their culture because the PM said so. They were rotten with greed before he was in nuber 10 and will be when he is long gone.


People need to realise that Big Business rules ok! Our government is little more than a glorified Parish council in the context of the capitalist global free market.
