+1 on compressed air - didnt see any spark plugs, or a piston ring being fitted?

The little methanol r/c car engines can run on a glowplug system, but that is a 2cycle engine, not a 4cycle.

Yeah, clever, but pointless if it's a diesel... ;D

Was more impressed by the guy that built a perfect scale replica of a Ferrari racer, complete with running flat 12. The gearbox, pedals, suspension, all worked like the full size car. 8-)

That is VERY cool! Doesn't matter if it doesn't run under its own steam, the guy obviously does it for the enjoyment of making it. Therefore ... AWESOME!
