A few of us went to a bike event at Popham Airfield last summer - memorable for helicopter rides and the 'Bambi' incident...

And I bought a raffle ticket - first prize - Honda Fury - draw takes place NEC 5th Dec...

My ticket number - 3494

Winning ticket number - 3493

Thats the guy who bought the ticket just before me!!!!

Well - in reality if I had been one place forward in the queue - it would have probably altered the whole timeline - and I still wouldn't have won...

There is a biking claim solicitor that has a stand at all the major shows. At the show they give out little advert cards. Each card has a raffle number on for a draw for a bike.

The raffle is never ending and a number is drawn once a week and you have to claim the prize within 7 days.

The prize gets claimed about twice a year. I have two of the cards dating back to 2005 and I religiously check the numbers on the email that I get every Friday.

So far I have been within 10 numbers once and within 100 a few other times... :(

The draw is never ending so one day I should win.. :)
